Padgate Scouts and Guides (or PSG for short) is an operating name for the 26th Warrington East (2nd Padgate) Scout Group, 13th Warrington Guides and 13th Warrington Brownies when working together to manage our joint assets or activities.
Joint fundraising and management of our joint assets is administered by the Padgate Scouts and Guides Partnership Committee (PSGC for short). Date protection and finances are handled for the partnership by the 26th Warrington East (2nd Padgate) Scout Group.
26th Warrington East (2nd Padgate) Scout Group, is a registered charity (1212785), the other charities in the partnership are excepted charities.
This website is maintained for our annual Plant Sale fundraising used by PSGC to run and maintain our building, and/or purchase joint equipment.
General Privacy Notice and Privacy Guidance
This subsite (the /plants2026 site), exists soley to support our plant sale. We do not collect any data on this subsite to actively track you beyond the extent required to sell plants and operate the shop technology for the site. Our web hosting platform may automatically collect some statistics such as your IP and the the pages you load, but we don’t use this other than for diagnostics or security. All data on this site is collected under the “legitimate interests” or “fulfilment of a contract” legal basses.

Cookies and Tracking Data
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
The plugins we use to run our store set a series of cookies that track the contents of your cart and movement around the store pages. We do not analyse this data for marketing, we do not transfer cookie/site tracking data outside Scout Group. Most of these cookies are “session” cookies meaning they are deleted when you close your browser (or on some browsers after a pre-configured timeout, often around an hour). You cannot opt out of or disable this cookies as they are required for the site to function.
Our web-host collects visitor data as part of our website’s control panel. This is only used for technical/security purposes, is is not shared outside the Scout Group. Who we share your data with
Data from this website may be used by any of the PSG charities, and will not be shared further unless necessary to complete your order (we do not anticipate any further sharing of your data).
How long we retain your data
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. These details will be deleted if possible within 2 years of any user account being disabled as no-longer required.
Electronic order information may be kept for up to 2 years to help us plan future sales. Paper forms are returned on completion of the sale but personal data derived from them may also be kept for 2 years.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
